The Surgery went ok and recovery could be better she contracted C.Diff which is not uncommon in hospitals. But she was released today and is back where she belongs.

I think I'll have to hold a big sale - she does not have perscription drug coverage and got perscription drugs costing $1800+ ....

Smitty,

I'm so glad to hear that your bride is back home where she belongs. I will keep both of you in my prayers for her to have a quick recovery.

Take care and God Bless.

Jim Smith

Glad she's home too... looks like we both have our ladies back with us .... mine got home last Friday after a 3 month stay in hospitals and local nursing center... she's still in some pretty intense pain, but we're working through it... more doctors next week to consult on the pain.

Give Mrs. Smith all the love and care and our best wishes.

She is Recovering

I'm glad she's home, now the job is trying to keep her from over doing. She thinks she should be doing everything. About the drugs - it's only money and the Lord provides.

Glad to hear she is back home. We'll keep her in our prayers. If your bride is anything like Evelyn you'll have your hands full keeping her from over doing.

I'm new to the forum and I am not sure why your wife was in the hospital. I am happy she is okay and doing well. As far as the RX is concerned, try calling the pharmaceutical company. They have programs where they send the meds to you at no cost.

My daughter, 28 years old, was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis and Lupus. She is currently a chemo patient with two small children. She had the same circumstances and the drug company sent her some meds at no cost. Of course the chemo is $6,000+ each week but her insurance covers most of that. I won't say it wasn't a fight that had to be put up for them to cover it. It seems these days you need to go to the ends of the earth to get insurance to cover MUCH NEEDED meds to sustain life. They just don't care. You are just a number, not a person. Very sad.

I will pray for you and your family. Good luck! Have a blessed day

Give the Mrs. our love. She continues to be in our prayers. About the drugs, couldn't you get one of our Canadian friends to send some down for you at a reduced cost? (We keep hearing drugs are cheaper there...)

They also might be cheaper in Mexico, but not necessarily the drugs you want!
