My 60 year old aunt was killed in a car wreck lately. She did not deserve to die like this. She was t-boned by a ***** on his cell phone, who ran a red light.
She was the salt of the earth, who would literally give you the shirt off her back to help you out. She was a kind soul, & she'd do anything to help anyone. My family is torn apart by this tragedy. I don't know where to turn or what to do at this point. Luckily, the ***** was charged with vehicular manslaughter.
Small compensate for losing such a loving & caring woman.

I am sorry for your loss. I got a smart phone and I admit I started to use it irresponsibly. But in the last month I got wise and decided I wasn't going to put others at risk by using it while driving...

I'm all for a device that turns cell phones off in cars. I think this is becoming quite the safety issue.

I hope you and your family find some solace in the life the lived, and the joy she gave others. I'm sure she'll be remembered.
 
Charles, I am sorry for your loss. Your aunt was special to you and many others because of who she was. The scripture at Ecclesiastes 7:1 comments on this, pointing out how at birth, who we are is yet to be established. It says, "A name is better than good oil, and the day of death than the day of one's being born." The "name" your aunt had is a tribute to the person she was through her life. She was a treasure to many along the way. You and your family are included in my prayers.

Charles I am very sorry for you loss, I wish there were great words I could give you to help you through this troubled time.
 
I'm sorry for your loss. Cell phones are the worst thing thats happened to cars since their creation (IMO). The only thing that comes close is alcohol, but to me cell phones are almost worse because it seems to be much more prevalent and less "objectionable"...

Hopefully, it will get a ton of press that it was the root cause of the accident and more people will think before using their phones in the car.
 
Charles, I'm very sorry for your loss. I see these idiots driving around every day and am seriously contemplating buying a cellphone jammer. They are illegal but so is driving around talking on the cellphone and killing or hurting someone else. I would rather have someone lose their cellphone signal than hit me or anyone of my family, friends, etc.
 
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I hope that your Aunt's life will give you solace at this difficult time. She will live on through your memories and retelling of family stories. In my state there is a law against using a cell phone while driving, unless it is hands free, but I can't see that it has stopped anyone from talking, driving and holding their phone all at the same time.
 
Very sorry to hear of this happening. Such a tragedy that could have been prevented. It is never an easy time and often times its hard to get used to someone not being there any longer. Hang in there the best you can.
 
I'm also sorry to hear of a life cut short by some moron on a cell phone, I think it's great that some states have outlawed the use of any hand held device while operating a vehicle. To loose an Aunt is always hard anyway, but like this it's just a plain dirty deal, favorite Aunts and Uncles are very special folk.
 
Very sorry for your loss! I lost a good friend in June he was texting and driving. Our prayers go out to you and you family.
Please let this be a wake up call to all that reads this. DONT DRIVE AND TALK!!!!!
