My daughter spend a couple of weeks turning gifts for family. Not bad for her first efforts!

That girl has a ton of stuff in her favor...she turns, she makes really cool stuff, she's from Cheesehead Central, she wears glasses...and her dad took an active roll in her life!! You're a good man David and she is a good turner!

She's a fantastic kid, and has so many talents. She lives to come out in the shop and help me, and turning seems to be her thing!

Her first efforts look a Lot better than mine. I spent an entire day trying to make a slimline and it STILL turned out ugly.

I always enjoy it when I see kids take an interest in a hobby that doesn't include poking keys or buttons. Now get that girl a lathe!

I have a delta lathe that I am restoring, and my dad is sending his Jet mini lathe home with us tomorrow. Three should be enough for now...
