We have a commercial around here for Write Brand Bacon and one of the lines is "Ever wonder why bacon doesn't have a cookbook?" "Well, maybe its because bacon doesn't need a cookbook." and I agree Bacon makes everything better.

I love Chocolate covered bacon.
 
Take really thick bacon and cook on a sheet pan in the oven. When the bacon is about 75% done coat with brown sugar and ground pecans and finish baking. Talk about meat candy prailine bacon. Think I need to go home early and do some cooking I am getting hungry thinking about bacon.

suddenly my salad seems to be missing something.
 
Last time I went to the doctor he asked if I was eating right. I told him yes I eat plenty of fruits and vegatables and I cut red meat and bacon to only two to three time a week. He asked how much bacon I normaly eat at one sitting and I replied with "one". He congratulated me on my constraint to one piece of bacon, to which my response was, "one pound, not one piece. Who the Heck only eats one piece of bacon?!"
 
I am a rookie at pen turning but I am pro with bacon hehe :biggrin: This is my heart attack roll. This has 2 lbs of bacon and 2 lbs of sausage with a bbq rub and bbq sauce. Oh so good lol

Scott, there is a great guy here on the IAP named Curtis O. Seebeck - MesquiteMan - that will be glad to get you set up so that you can cast and or stabilize that monster. Afterwards you can show us the beautiful pen you made out of it. Be sure to post pictures of the extra blanks and make the rest of us an offer we can't refuse. :cool:

And, Dr. Strangefart, seeing as that you are a relatively close neighbor of mine, I am really beginning to worry about you. :eek:

Just had BLTs yesterday for dinner. Something about rehabbing inside a flat roofed brick building with no AC when it's 107 and coming home to BLT sandwiches for dinner. Tasted so good I had 3! (And my cholesterol is in the 120 range :biggrin: )
