My son brought back a set of horns and skull - I think they call it a dead head -that he found on a musk ox hunt on Victoria Island, Nunavut.. this is the 4th pen I've made out of it. I cast a piece of horn in Blue acrylic with pearl mica - pretty happy with the outcome - thoughts/comments/critiques?

Gorgeous pen! The visual texture of that horn is really interesting.
One of these days I've got to look into casting. It obviously opens up a ton of possibilities.

Thank you for the comments!
Musk ox is very hard to come by and casting the smaller pieces make them usable and very attractive!
