This is obviously a Music pen from PSI, in antique pewter. The second one I've made. I love all the details. The drum finial, guitar neck clip, piano keys center band, and music notes and treble clefs on the tip. The wood says it's zebra, but it looks more like tulipwood to me. It's also slightly under turned, even though I was careful to exactly match the bodies to the diameters of the bushings. Still, I think it turned out nice.

A friend of mine asked me to make this as a birthday present for her friend, and to engrave his name on it.

Nice looking pen Jim. I agree, it really doesn't look like Zebra wood to me. Not sure about Tulip but I have some Tulip blanks I got from Bell Forest that I need to try. Thanks for sharing. Oh, and I didn't notice it being under turned at all. Nice work.

They really are nice looking pens, but boy those suckers are heavy. It is odd to see zebrawood without stripes, but my experience with tulip is that it has more pinks and yellows in it. I suppose if zebra can not have stripes, then tulip can be plainer, too. Maybe it's just cut from a really wide growth ring?
