Just got back to "Exotics Headquarters"!! Spent the last several hours driving and talking about the great folks that we met because we enjoy pen turning!

I realize I will miss someone if I start reeling off the experiences, so let's say "Thank you" to "Low_48" (Rich) for contacting me months ago and inviting us to this event!! I thoroughly enjoyed having the opportunity to do "Skewing around" again and I thank the MANY turners who took time after the presentation to greet me personally and introduce themselves---putting faces with "screen names" is always fun.

Although I spent very little time in the "Exotics" booth, the "Princess" had lots of stories to share on the drive home. Seems a number of the attendees enjoyed the chance to "meet the brains behind" www.exoticblanks.com !!

Of course we want to say THANK-YOU to those who took advantage of the special pricing and we look forward to seeing some of the RhinoPlastic, inks, refills and Lucite that you took home!!

Also it was REALLY GREAT to meet a couple of our partners!! Both CaptG and JohnU fournd a way to make the trip!!!! We were disappointed that MasterScroller (Workinforwood) was called to work, like it or not, but the real world DOES provide all of us with food and other kind of important extras!!! We certainly understand that he could NOT make it.

ZanderPommo (Alex) really rose to the occasion, doing a presentation on CA finish to fill in part of the schedule caused by some folks having to bow out!! Great job of "Adlib"!!

The other presenters: Gerry Wilhite (Chasper), Alice Call (Elody) and Rich (Low_48) were all very well received---the audience sat in rapt attention and nearly all of them had BOTH eyes open!!!!

So, we learned---but equally important we met. Aged from single digit to just under triple!!! Amazing diversity and yet GREAT friendship. I really look forward to doing it again next year.

Nice to see Cozee and Terrance again---but I have to emphasize what a fantastic job Rich did--overcoming cancellations and making the event go flawlessly!!

Happy to be home safely--hope everyone else can say the same!!

Ed and Dawn;

Your comments here are spot on. While I didn't get the chance to say hello, seems there was always a group surrounding you, I did take advantage of the rhino special. Can't wait to turn some. My wife won a feather blank in the drawing so that will be my first project. She'll soon have a new favorite pens.

Great trip, great friends, great program. THANK YOU RICH!

Carl

Thanks Rich, for making this event happen again. It was another outstanding MPG. Good program and lots of mice folks.

I'm glad to say I made it this year. It was a great day hanging out with all of you, talking shop and just getting to know each other. Thank you Rich for all of your hard work and time, planning this years show. Also thanks to the demonstrators for sharing their " know how" and ideas. I'm looking forward to next years show.
