Moved my lathe

I finally got er done. I moved my lathe from the drafty garage door to my little man cave. It is temporary, using an old WorkMate for a bench with a mdf top. I'll get a proper bench made this winter. Also when I can get my big machinery moved to my son-in-law's home I will have ample room. I turned some cocobolo. MmmmMmmm. Smelled like chocolate. Made me so hungry I had to go to the kitchen and have some chocolate chip cookie dough. My table saw, grinders, sanders and belt sander will remain in the garage portion keeping the major dust out of the workshop. Don't want it around my metal machinery.

Rocky...great move especially in the Denver winters! Brrrr!!! I use a used, bathroom vanity as a stand and very pleased with it (plus it was free and sturdy!). Wish I had the option of moving my workspace from the garage to a warm working space! ;>) Anywho, have fun and safe turning to you always...please keep us posted on your progress!
