Also known as salad bowl set . .lol . .
When Frank Wright showed some beautiful bowls on the WWF site that he made a few days ago , from laminated finger joint pine shelving it gave me inspiration to try that kind of wood myself . My new planer has not arrived yet and I was having RM bowl making withdrawal because I couldn't plane down some of the glue ups I have made waiting for it.
So I selected a very flat 12" board of that wood from Home Hardware and this is what I made from one end of it .
The big bowl is 12" diameter and the small ones are almost 6" diameter .
Finish is two coats of sanding sealer and four coats of semi gloss WB lacquer applied with HVLP sprayer .
