Mortar and pestle

Had a turning challenge on another forum and I got to pick the topic. The challenge I chose was a mortar and pestle in order to combine both bowl and spindle turning. Mortar is ambrosia maple and the pestle is curly maple segmented with African Blackwood. Photos taken by my wife.
