More pens with Bob's alumilite

Bob's alumilite is pretty popular in my shop.

Here are the last two that I made up with his blanks.

First is a blue with bronze and silver - sort of a molten metals theme.
Second is red and violet - button filler.

I've got one of his Alumilite blanks in a two color blue that's taking me a while to figure out how to not mess it up. You're starting to tempt me to make the effort.

I really like that first one.

Don't worry about messing it up! Just have fun with it!

If it's transparent you may need to spend more time on fine sanding and polishing to get a nice shine out of it. After these pics were taken I hit mine against the buffer with some auto wax to help it out. Made a huge difference.

I just asked Bob to make a red/violet swirl blank in the same sort of style as the red/black blanks he's made for me before. So it's just a red/violet swirl in alumilite.
