I have always said I needed more light at the lathe. So I made this. I threaded it so it unscrews from the base.

Oh my word! I have a lot of beads and I just poured some of the left over alumilite and heated it in a cup of water while mixing it and I went to put in some beads and the darn alumiite is already hard! That gives me some thing to try for tomorrow... Fay

I had to use Silmar 41 with plenty of hardener. Unfortunately, you're right. It doesn't give off much light.

Maybe if you throw in some LED's next time, you will get more light.
