More fun with modified Slimlines!

I'm really enjoying this style, and am pretty sure I will never buy another Designer/Euro kit! Based on the Russ Fairfield "Russ-line" (see this link for the inspiration: Pen41) I played today with Ancient Kauri with a couple of bands created with the parting tool, and a Ziricote version with a single band of Bloodwood. Fun!

Very nice pens! Who needs Euro kits?

I, too, like this style. It's also similar to a mod by Kip Christensen. Since I started using this design (about 6 years ago), I've only made about 40 slimlines with a center band. You can vary the design a great deal, too.

Theose are really nice pens. The bloodwood works well with the zircote. Keep having fun!
