More bleached Wenge

I to recently bleached some Wenge. but I went a different direction with it. After bleaching an allowing it to dry out overnight I dyed it a couple of times, allowed it to dry again. The sanded it back till I got the look I was happy with. Finished with Pens Plus. The body is Diamond Knurl.

Almost forgot the rock is painted playdoh, got that idea here.

That's very cool! I see lots of possibilities with that process.

Also, I like the rock. Playdough probably stays put better than my styrofoam. Did you let it dry out, then paint it?

I did let it dry out for several days, maybe a week before painting. I also made one out of polymer clay but after baking and painting the surface was so slick everything would just slide off of it. Kind of funny really.
