I have friend who's dad lost his Mont Blanc. They found it later in the yard and now the transmission no longer retracts the ink. I called Mont Blanc, but they do not send out parts. They said a typical repair is $50 to $150 dollars ! So I am wondering how I might get ahold of a working transmission for this pen. It's a Meisterstuck Classique.

By the way, she did buy a pen from me as a gift for him this year, but it would be cool to repair this one as it has sentimental value to him.

Thank you!

Send me a PM listing the model and serial number of the pen. I used to repair these and may have a few. I'm not sure of "Classique", but if is a 162, 164, etc, I May have the part.

If all else fails send a photo with a ruler in front of the broken pen.
