Made from a 18 mm round bar of 4 alloy MokuTiZr or (Mokume Titanium Laminate Zirconium Damascus ). This was my second go at this material. This material has a life of it's own. Put in in cool water and it lightens the color of the alloy and sharpens the interface between metals..... hold it in your hand and the darker blues come out. Played with torch time on the cap, section and lower portion of the barrel to get a look that seemed nice. At 1 AM and tired....anything looks nice. Front section with Bock #6 nib and feed. Don't plan on making any more for a while. It is outrageously expensive material and hard on tools. Donating this one to a Gala Auction for a Children's Benefit later this year. Hope you like it.
