Made this pair of earrings from a small leftover 1/4" length of 14 mm diameter piece of Mokume Gane from my guild submission. Ran it through my rolling mill until oval. Shaped with grinder. Polished to 600 grit. Rubbed with Feldspar Patina Prep, rinsed with hot water and patinated.
Gave them to my wife...Thanks for looking. Doc:smile:

Question, what is patina prep?

Patina Prep is a combination of feldspar and acid that is used to prepare the three metal mokume gane by cleaning, polishing and etching the outer surface.....Feldspar is a mineral abrasive enough to shear metal without smearing one layer of metal onto another.
