I made a group buy of Mohawk dye concentrates which are equivalent to transtint dyes, but sold by the quart. If you are interested in picking up a set of 5 dyes in black, perfect brown, red, yellow, and red, I have them all packaged in a nice 2oz glass bottles with labels.
With these colors, you can mix any wood tone you want.
These dissolve in water, alcohol, or acetone, and you can dilute them to use as a wood stain prior to finishing or you can add them to shellac, water based, or lacquer to make a tinted toner. They are very concentrated, and these 2oz bottles will last a while.
The price is $31 plus shipping, which is my total cost divided by 15. Local pickup in st Charles, MO is welcome.
I am very active on woodworking talk, but I go in spurts on this forum.
