Modified slimline olive wood pen

This one was harder than it looks; i didn't use an ordinary mandrel but one that fits in a pin chuck to make a closed end pen. My thought was that the rear part should be as long as the front part (nib included). The end result is not bad but not great either. I think i should make the closed end part one cm smaller, also the shape should be more concave. Anyway mistakes in the right direction i suppose...thanks for looking, cheers.

Very nice and have always like the grain of olive wood. The wife has several olive wood carvings made in the Holy Land. Wood grain can be eye catching.
