Modified mini designer with sapele

Thanks to some inspiration from @egnald and @PenCasso I took a whack at modifying a mini designer twist. I should have relieved a bit more as you can feel dragging while turning, but all in all pretty happy for the first go.

Very Cool and a very nice looking pen. I think it looks much better than what I have seen with the center band installed.

I have some of the Mini Designer kits in both gold and chrome plating, but I have never made one. I've noticed that PSI only shows the Gold one in their catalog now so I wonder if the chrome was discontinued (or maybe both have been discontinued but they still have gold ones in inventory).
