So, I finally got some of these EDC kits. I'm so happy they came out with these. I've been using the click mechanisms for quite some time and either creating a custom pen or modifying the slimline pro.

The problem with the brass EDC is that they use the silver clicker and clip still, which looks silly to me. I used the gold colored schmidt mechanism that I already have (from Richard Greenwald) and took a clip from the slimline pro kit.

Works perfectly!

The blank is called "oil slick" by Tim McKenzie. Simply beautiful. I can't take good pics so I included one in my hand which shows the colors better!

That's a really nice pen Lewis. I have a bunch of friends that would like that, but I'll just use the stainless steel ones for the same plating.

Thank you Mark.

The stainless and the aluminum look pretty good. I don't mind the black aluminum either even though they contrast. With the right blank, it looks good.

I just made my second (the aluminum finish). I don't take any chancess with the "rotating clip phenomenon". I am getting real good at applying the JB weld (must wait 24 hours for full cure).

The SS is now my personal carry pen. I brought it to the SEPG. I hope PSI got this one right.
