a question for the old pros out there(and young ones) i'm kinda new to this game so take it easy on me when i make a big mess of things,question is if i make a segmented pen with ebony and yellow heart is the ebony gonna bleed into the yellow? thanks .

Due to the oiliness of the ebony, it is highly likely that it will bleed into the yellow heart. To minimize this, saturate the yellowheart with thin CA before you do any sanding.

thanks lots dc,i kinda figured something had to be done before finishing with woods that different,wife likes the yellow so i'm gonna try and surprise her with a segmented something or another.
