Quick back story .....

One of my real good friends had her father pass away several years ago, she contacted me about making something for her and her 3 sisters with the box that held his ashes. Well, that made me a bit nervous (I am still honing my skills ...). So, I made these clocks for them.

With some of the 'scraps' I pieced together some bonus pens for them too. I mixed some walnut and cherry with the box material to make these slimline pens.

This meant alot to me, and I was honored to do this, Bob was a good man!

Thanks for looking!

Thanks!

It also got me a chance to practice with some glue-ups / accents. I wanted each pen to be different. I have a couple that didnt make the cut .... sure makes me appreciate the segmented work done here!

Appreciate the chance to share with ya'll too!

What a cool memorial, the four of them will have something special forever. Nice job and you can feel the heart and soul put into these items.

What a wonderful tribute to a friend. You certainly did a fine job with this work. I can understand being nervous - but the nerves don't show in your work! Your friend is lucky to have called on you in this endeavour.
