Has anyone ever cut into the scar tissue formed by mistletoe? I got a couple of pieces today but haven't cut into it yet.
Recently got some desert ironwood and a really gnarly piece of mesquite. I'll try to get them cut tomorrow and put up some pics.
Met with Cindy (nava1uni) last week in CA. Took her some mulberry and ironwood. She gave me a beautiful piece of redwood burl. It was great to meet her and visit for an hour or so.
Came home from my niece's house in CA with a huge bag of avocados, a huge bag of walnuts, some apples and a big bag of tomatoes. She has two beautiful walnut trees. I've got dibs on any tree trimmings. (the nuts are great, too.) I have enough avocados to feed an army. And past experience has shown that they all ripen at the same time. Glad guacamole freezes well.
