Mistletoe Burl Mesquite Ice Cream Scoop

Here is a Mistletoe Burl Mesquite ice cream scoop I recently made. As a matter of fact, I used it to scoop up a nice bowl of BlueBell Pecan Pralines and Cream this evening! I bought the heads from Clapiana a while back. It has a CA finish and works great!

It is a type of Mesquite burl called Mistletoe Burl Mesquite that forms where mistletoe attacks the mesquite. It is not mistletoe itself!

The new flavors are just not as good. Brenham, Texas Better than home.

That is a beautiful piece of wood and a nice looking scoop. I would use it to dish up Salted Caramel and Malted Vanilla.

That is really nice looking Curtis. I have purchased a couple of them from Craig also and I am not sure how to mount the scoop into the handle yet. I have a nice piece of Cherry for mine to use on Chocolate Chip, Cherry, Cookie Dough.
