Mirror frame, turned basic shape on lathe, then carved the flower petals, burned the extensions of the petals to get an overlap look, then finally airbrushed each petal to create a rainbow effect of primary, secondary and blended tertiary colors. Color pattern is the same on the back. Hard Maple with with Polyurethane finish.
This was a challenge to photograph, I never was able to get a good combination of no distracting image reflected in the mirror, and no distracting background. I think my homemade light tent is a bit too small for this subject.
