Hi everyone here are some pictures of the miniature bowls from the 3 bowl collections that I posted. I hope you enjoy them. Aloha

This bowl is Kou.
This next picture is of a Lignum vitae, this wood carves and sands very well.
The next bowl is Naio, a nice yellow wood that has a smell kind of like Sandalwood, that is how it got it's AKA name, false Sandalwood.
The next bowl is Olopua or Hawaiian Olive. This wood has a nice smell like the Mediterranean olive.
The next bowl is another Kou, this is actually a rare Hawaiian wood and was the wood of choice when the early Hawaiians made their bowls or as they would call them "umeki"
