Mini Mokume Gane Kitless Fountain Pen

Got a chance to make this small Mokume Gane kitless fountain pen. Made this a little at a time. Body, Section and Cap machined from a single round bar of Triple Twist Mokume Gane with Nickel-Silver, Copper and Brass. Clip made from flat bar of Triple Twist Mokume, staged down in thickness with rolling mill, shaped, hole drilled and tapped. Hole drilled into cap near top and tapped for a 2.5 mm X 0.45 mm stainless steel button hole screw. Finished by sanding lightly but thoroughly with Feldspar powder and patinated to show all three metals. Boundaries of the three metals were sharp without overlap or "smear" over the adjacent metal. Has a Bock #6 Black Lacquer nib. Capped length is 4.25" and posted at 5.25". The Mokume Gane twist triple round and flat bar was custom made by master metalsmith Mike Sakmar.
