SOLD I was in the Springfield, MO Harbor Freight store getting door prizes for the Southwest Missouri IAP Picnic and was talking with Dave Coudert the manager. He has a lathe that he wants to sell (personally, not in the store). It was his father's who passed away a couple of months ago.
Here is the lathe:

Dave said the lathe had never been used. It is just like new. He is asking $250. I did not talk to him about shipping. If you are interested in this lathe, pm me and I will send you his home phone number. He is going to list this on Craig's List soon so you need to respond quickly.

I have been contimplating purchasing that exact lathe at HF. It seemed a little pricey, so I have held off. Now this comes along. I am very interested and called the HF store in Springfield, Mo. and the manager was off today. Get me in touch please.

I bought that lathe almost a year ago, took it out of the crate never have used it. Someone here posted a 20% off coupon and found it on sell, end up paying a little under $300.

I have this lathes baby brother, they are good lathes and can be made even better with a bit of fine tuning. I bought mine because I was told by those that would know that they are basically the raw materials of a top grade lathe. I use the dickens out of mine and always look for another excuse to use it rather than my big lathe. Problem is new excuses usually means expensive attachments. Ah the tortured life I lead.
