Guys,

I just found out today that if you got one of these pen presses early this year when they first came out it may not have included a sheet of paper that describes a procedure to make the press have more power and cause less issues.

I called them today with an issue with my press and they are sending me a new press because of the issue. That is excellent customer service. I did not even have to argue.

If you have problems with yours you may want to see this link or call them if you have issues. Here is the link:

I called and spoke to their tech support. They stood by their product and sent me a replacement. Nice job on their part.

I already got my replacement in the mail. Really good service.

I think that the modification they have you make seems to make it less useful for me. The handle does not have as much of a range to it as it used to. Let me know what you think when you modify yours.

Used my new replacement last night. I like it. It changes the leverage a little bit, but I felt fully in control and everything aligned smoothly.

I got one of those a couple of months ago, and it included that information.
BTW I bought it to replace an old press I got in my penturning kit I got from PSI. Can't be any happier with the change.

Saw this thread a couple of weeks ago, Like most here I had the same problems after about 20 pens. Bushing popping out and rod bending. Called Milescarft and left a message. I got a return call in about two days. They said they where aware of the problem and they would stand behind their product. Milescraft sent me a new Pen press no questions asked. I believe when a Company stands behind their product, Good things should be written and not forgotten. My .02 cents....
