I tried to find out w/o bugging y'all with another newbie question but could not find a post anywhere: does it hurt micromesh to stay wet? do you let it dry out after each use if you are not using it for a couple of days?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi Mark,
We leave our MM in a plastic coffee can half full of water all the time. We change the water out and give the MM a good rinse about once a week, depends on how much turning we are doing.
Hope this helps

The sheets are fine, but the foam sanding pads can delaminate if left in warm soapy water. D.A.M.H.I.K.T.![:0]

I was washing them out by shaking them up in a plastic canister with a bit of laundry soap. (I had read that you could wash them in a jeans pocket, but the owner of the washing machine would have had a hairy fit if she had caught sandpaper in her machine, so I came the closest I could think of) I got interrupted, and grabbed them out the next morning. a couple of the pads had soaked right off the foam!

I wash mine in a bag in the washing machine, the bag is made with an old dish towel folded in half ans sewn on the two sieds and a draw string on the top.
