Mickey Mouse Fountain and Sierra

A few pens starring Mickey Mouse. CaptG cast the blanks for me and he did a spectacular job. The fountain pen is on a Jr Statesman kit. I had every intention of using a jr emperor kit on it but the clip was too straight for the contour of the cap. The sierra blank looks rustic and I like it. Let me know what you think and if you would like to try your hand at making one, just give CaptG a shout and I am sure he can hook you up with a nice blank.

Thanks for the kind words. CaptG did the hard work by casting such great blanks to start with. I will tell you that while turning these unique blanks, the one thing that was going through my mind over and over was "Don't screw it up". I enjoy a challenge and I enjoyed turning these pens.

You did a fine job turning both of those. You got the last Mickey without original hands (the rustic look) that I will make unless it is by request. All future Mickeys will have the original hands like your Jr. Statesman. Keep up the great work.
