All over the place. Ann Arbor to see friends, Detriot area for family, West Branch for family, the UP to hunt a bit maybe.......

I live in the Davison area, btwn Detroit and W. Branch. You may know that the state buck record was harvested in Lapeer County (i believe), but the UP is nicer.

Lots of state land in Michigan, do some reasurch and get out there!

I did know that, we are looking for meat. Can't eat antler and a trophy buck is a bitch to stuff in a suit case. Besides there are a lot of Yoopers who could care less about an award from the lower penn that wouldnt submit a bigger buck.:wink:

The international Fly fishing symposium was in Grand rapids way back in the day and I used to fish the PM. Grand rapids is a nice town.

You out by Hudson mills park then? Used to play a lot of disk golf out that way.
Not at all sure how much free time we are going to have, lots to do and see but it might be nice to have a cup of coffee with one or more of ya. Gotta run the sun is almost up and the boy wants to get after ducks before pre school.

I'm halfway between Lansing and Jackson. Lots of state land here, but it's just a grain of sand compared to how much is in Alaska. Me..if I want to hunt, I just open the window in the nice heated shop and fire away at the big rats as the walk on by. Bullets are cheaper than the front end of my pick up.
