G'day!
Bought a few micarta blanks from Ken Frisbie from the USA recently, and boy oh boy do they look striking! Such an odd turning experience, it was like making coloured powder!
My love of gloss made me do a CA finish on it. Kit is a berea Atrax, my go to pen kit.
Thanks for looking!

Beautifully done! That blank design reminds me of a couple of items: 1. Somewhat of a cross grain cut of Fordite, 2. Mola designs of the Cuna Indians of the San Blas Islands, Panama. Unique!

They are really great. Thanks for showing. I have bought some of his blanks but have not turned them yet. Nice to see how they turn out with a CA finish. I will have to get busy on mine now. Thanks for the push.
