Need some suggestions on how to finish micarta pen blanks. I used CA glue but it turned the blank really dark. I can barely see the beautiful design in the blank. Thanks in addivance

Jimbo, I've not used micarta but it's cloth set in resin. Just sand it down and no need to add a finish. I'd use micromesh to get it polished up good. Who sells the Micarta blanks? I'd like to get some.

Exoticblanks has them also, I've turned a few and applied CA over them with no issues but I'm sure it all depends on their color.
