micarta finishing

Need some suggestions on how to finish micarta pen blanks. I used CA glue but it turned the blank really dark. I can barely see the beautiful design in the blank. Thanks in addivance

Jumbo, I've not done any Micarta but it's a resin of some sort. I'd probably use micromesh on it. I would not put any finish on it at all.
