I am ordering tap and die from Indy Pen Works when they have them in stock. My question is: who is a provider of drill bits: 6.4 mm, 5.8 mm, 6.8 mm, 7.2 mm.
My first attempt at a #5 Bock Section.

Try Victor Machinery Exchange. High Speed Steel Metric Jobber Length Drill Bits - from 1mm to 20mm. I believe they have a $25 minimum. I have ordered from them and they have good service and prompt shipping.

I'm lucky; (I think?) I live about 20 minutes from one of their distribution warehouses.

Look at the $40 set from harbor freight. It has the equivilant of most sizes

If you have an industrial fastener supply house in your area -you probably do- then they should have any bit you want and usually at a better price than elsewhere. Probably to be found under "fasteners" in the yellow pages. Worth a phone call to find out.

You can get around the $25 minimum by ordering their stuff through Amazon. If you go through the Victor Machinery website you will be subjected to the $25 minimum

John why do you want those drill bits in those sizes?? All of my custom pens to date have been the #5 Bock and I have never used those sizes of drill bits yet. Between a number set and a standard set you will do just fine.

I bought a metric drill bit set from mechanics tools and bits for a reasonable price but I think they only have down to .5 increments.

OUCH !!!!!!! What sizes are you using??? I took this from another posting.
Please help. If you want, use my email. Let me know. I would rather work with standard sizes but have already ordered these bits. So, with your help I will order the standard sizes. I am focusing on the section and then move onto the body and then the final and cap.
