Well I finally got a new motor in my lathe (the old one gave up) and I turned this bowl. It is 7" across and 2" tall and weighs about 4 oz. There is a small bark inclusion on one side and sapwood on the other.
The finish is hand rubbed Howards Orange Oil feed n wax, then Howards paste wax.
C & C welcome
William

Beautiful bowl! I love the Bark Inclusion and your finish looks excellent.

For a bowl that is not too tall, your profile is excellent.

Thanks for posting!

Awesome bowl William!!! Mesquite is one of my favorite woods to turn as it's grain patterns and color are soooo beautiful and your turning of this beautiful bowl certainly displays the very best of mesquite! Thanks for sharing and safe turning to you!!!
