I'm having fun playing with an order from my brother for 10-15 of the EDC's. I'm going through my stash of uncommon blanks and really enjoying seeing some beautiful grains. I believe I got this blank from Edgar a few years ago, which makes sense as this is a Texas shrub/tree. Thanks Edgar for a beautiful blank.

Texas Mescal Bean.

Mescal Bean?
Edgar sure does come up with some strange woods! Looks nice.

I don't remember the specifics, but I got a box of wood that I believe all came from his property. I have looked at this blank many times and simply waited for a nice purpose. I probably have 100+ of these unusual blanks - many were gifts and trades. This is fun.

Yes Mal. I got three of the 5 packs for this order, so I'm just mixing and matching. So far most of my blanks are on the brownish/reddish side, so I'm running out of good pairings. Not that the recipients will notice.
