well, We've got three and a maybe should be a fascinating meeting.

LOL .. I think there will be a few more. I wish there was a way to subscribe
to this group so that you'd automatically see new messages. I usually come
in, go to the UserCP to get my messages and see the threads I've been
subscribed to. Then (if I have time) I'll read through the front page and see
what's going on.

If I think of it, I'll go searching for particular folders like Casting & Stabilization,
Advanced Penturning etc.. and New England.

I wish that part would automatically pop up in the CP.. I wouldn't forget
that way. I can see replies to threads I've posted in, but not when someone
starts a new thread

I will also be attending this meeting so we are up to 4. Part of the reason I am asking is in order to do the casting demo, I have to bring a good amount of materials with me. If we are going to have a smaller group than usual, it may be benificial to reschedule this demo and change the agenda of this meeting. Eric is still going to do the captured ring demo and I can either continue as planned or I can change it to a segmenting demo. We are aslo going to be playing with some of the carbide cutting tools that we have. As far as I know, we will have 4 of them at the meeting and anyone is welcome to try the few that I am bringing up. I will have several blanks predrilled and tubed so we can experiment with these tools.
It is something that everyone should have a say in, so if we can post our thoughts on it here, it would make it easier.

I would like to see your demo, but can't in May. It's not like kids don't graduate from school all the time. It's not that big of a deal. Ahem----long pause. I have been corrected. It is that big of a deal. I still can't make it. Hope to see the demo in July.

What would you need to bring? Perhaps we can split it up. I have a small
compressor and vac pump, alumilite, powders, dyes etc.

I can just add it to the growing "Neil Pile" ..

I doubt anyone would mind seeing a demo more than once if it is
beneficial.. (at least I wouldn't..)

I will be there also, hope this time to actually make it.

Well, just for you .. I'll hold off on the snow this time.
Is it a deal? And Neil will dance the hula in a grass skirt if we get enough people there.:bananen_smilies027:

Looks like we will be having a captured ring demo and a casting demo part 1, along with a blank swap and a carbide tool comparison.
Charlie, I will give you a call tomorrow and we can figure out how we will be doing this.

Everybody wear a welder's face shield. You won't see any of this. Man, I already can't sleep.
Alton, sleep is overrrated, but if you really want to have some fun, I'll wear my hockey mask and we can walk around the parking lot directing traffic.

Lets see, a man in a grass skirt wearing a hockey mask directing traffic should only get me what, 3-5 in an asylum.

Who's bringing lunch? I don't want chicken, I want a burger.

Charlie is not around. He said he had to go shopping. Muttered about getting
something to wear to the meeting. I think the word he used was slinky. I'm glad I'm not going to be there!

I'll be there. I'm riding down with Charlie. However now that I am hearing about his attire for the meeting I'm having second thoughts.

I am in the process of moving and have been doing some cleaning out. I plan on bringing two boxes of giveaway blanks like I did at the last meeting.

This is true. It makes the New Hampshire people very nervous.
They keep threatening to send me back to Maine.
