McNaughton Coring

I just got a McNaughton M8 Standard Coring system for my Powermatic 3520B. I was wondering if I should order a couple of the small radius blades from the mini or micro set for coring blanks in say the 6"x3" range or smaller. I have a bunch of these and grabbing some extra bowls is always welcome. The steps on the tool rest mean that they will all work on my system.

I likew the fact that you can use the hollowers with the tool gate. So I got three 5/8" hollowers as well. :biggrin:

Well, I would...! nothing worse than getting a stunning large bowl blank and not be able to use every bit of it.

Go for it if you have the $$. It will pay for itself after a few cores.
