This weekend I finalized a deal with Constant for the rest of Laserlinez. While we bought the pen kit business about 3 years ago, we have now acquired the laser cut blank side of the business.

There's a learning curve with getting this right, so I expect there will be a couple weeks where we'll be starting small fires in the laser etc as we learn the ropes. I'm going to go ahead and apologize now if there's a favorite blank set you're looking for and we're not ready to provide it...

The good news is that we can extend the concept of the laser cut designs into our DiamondCast® resin as well as the dyed wood. That's going to give us some awesome options for new ways to make current designs. Like this little test of cutting the stars out of a DiamondCast® blue blank!

We just got the laser in yesterday and as you can see we've got a little work to do to get things ready for production. Ideally I need to update the software a bit and maybe find a better desk for the computer vs some resin buckets. They work in a pinch though!

In any case we're super excited to carry on the legacy of Laserlinez and certainly appreciate Constant putting his trust in our family to carry it forward from here.

Best of luck. Hopefully all your time and effort payoff.

As if, with Diamondcast, M3, and the stainless steel kits, I didn't already have enough reason to go to your site.

If nothing else we get to say "Laser" a lot with funny accents so that's a win right? 😂
I guess? While the technology isn't rocket science the art is (read can be) Picasso. It's very feasible to push the envelop with enough time and practice. Just look at what hobbyist do with machines that can't scratch the surface of your equipment.

I about had a heart attack! I've been out of the loop. I went to restock at Laserlinez and thought, ohe well, there goes about half of my best sellers! Congratulations and I will be placing plenty or orders shortly! Best of luck on your new aquisition!

This is fantastic news! I am especially looking forward to being able to get 3/8ths tubed kits for the PSI bolt action pen kits if/when they become available. The American flag laser inlay kit is my favorite.

Thanks McKenzie Penworks!

Quick nearly Christmas update... We've been adding designs to the website slowly over the past few weeks. Just got a bunch of the Bethlehem Olive Wood stuff up over the weekend after I put together test pieces. It's taking a while because we're evaluating each design on 1. how hard is it to put together and 2. how hard is it for us to make reliably... Well that and Rockler put an order in a couple weeks ago we weren't quite ready for and that put us behind on which designs we wanted to add. You'll see more and more added over the next couple weeks.

One big thing on my agenda is to go through the 3/8 tubed designs and get some added. With the Coyote being as popular as it is, it's a bit silly we don't have any LaserLinez kits for it! ;) Those bolt action things are cool too I suppose...
