I used to play a 5 string electric bass. Low B was a delight, the note just went on forever.

Thanks Steve. No kits involved.
The bass was made with the help of a local luthier using a Johnny Cash Jumbo former and the dulcimer I made mostly from timbers left over from the bass, just using a photograph of a simple bodied one.
