I am struggling with mating the section and barrel in a clean way . It hasn't been very consistent for me in this area . Not getting the clean single line . With a 13x0.8 barrel and a 10X1 section threading , I maintain a section mating dia of 11.76-11.80 MM but still find an unevenness of the threaded portion of barrel with the section slightly protruding beyond the threads . Also I sometimes observe a fine gap in some portion of the mating surfaces .
Is this expected in bespoke pens or a precision issue owing to a wood lathe usage ?
