I normally make these from curly Koa but decided to go a different route with this one yet still keep an island theme.

Jason, One of my daughters was a graduate from BYU Hawaii and married an Islander but unfortunately they were incompatible after 11 yrs. Nevertheless we enjoyed our visits and
your pen brought back some beaut memories especially the top of the pen was that part of the kit or did you pop the top out and replace?

Love your Curly Koa in the past you are blessed with great timber as we are over here.

Kind regards Peter.

Peter, that kit is from Jim at woodpenpro. That's the Master Monarch kit. He also has a Master Monarch desk pen.

There's the Diamond Head image on the cap end and on the opposite end is the Hawaiian flag. It's a great souvenir item so I usually make them out of nothing but curly Koa. I did this one to see how the island/water look with the cast Amboyna worked with the kit. I like it.

Anyway, here's the other end of these kits.
