The PEN looks great, like your green.
If you are trying to SELL the pen, lose the dog (it IS too cute).
Since no one HERE is going to BUY the pen, KEEP the dog in --- it's cute!!! And it's different. Every thread should NOT look the same!! Keeps it interesting.

Nice pen, keep up the good work.
I am glad you showed the post with the before picture.
It looks much better as a finished pen. It always amazes me how a cast blank can look so much better on the inside that straight out of the mold.

That spandex makes him look just like an Earth puppy. Oh, and very nice pen.
I looked through some of the posts. It appears this individual cast a lot and they have a website that shows some of them.
