March 2012 Meeting

Put it down on the calendar; 8 March- - 7 pm - - just a reminder. Perhaps Bill can tell us what the "bring a finished blank" means???? Phil

The March meeting will showcase the different finishes you can put on pens and how to do it. Bill wanted folks to bring pen blanks that had be completed up to and including final sanding. They would then use those blanks to learn how to apply the finishes. I have not talked to Bill lately but I believe the finishs offered will include, boiled linseed / ca glue finish, woodturners finish, a french polish type finish or others.

March 8 meeting

Got a call last night from an old friend who will be coming to visit today and that messes up my schedule to attend the meeting tonight. Ah shucks! Well, there is a chance I could drag him to the meeting but that seems like a slim possibility. Hope you all have a great meeting and someone takes notes! Please. Phil
