Maple/leopardwood birdhouse ornament

My second ornament, these are fun little things to make. I'm starting to get the hang of the skew as well. Standard friction polish finish, I cheated again and used a 1/8" dowel for the perch. It's a bit too thick and I completely forgot to put any oil on the inside of the hole, but I'm still happy with it. c/c welcome, good or bad
