I got this piece of maple from a local arborist. There's a fair bit of CA holding the knot end together, I worked this one slow and soaked it in CA a couple times. Pretty pleased with the result.

Was your kit a recent purchase or have you had it for a while? I would love to buy some of the cigar style clicker kits, but I haven't found anyone with anything like this in stock. - Dave

Excellent pen and your wood choice shows that you have a great eye for what makes an attractive pen! I love the cut offs and knots of discarded lumber!

Very nice! Love the grain. Glad you left the knot in...maybe those are hard to work around, but knots always seem to add character to wood things. And figure!
