Maple Burl

Finally put the finishing touches on a batch of pens I have been working on. Here is a Chrome Baron made from Maple Burl that I got from isaacrapelje (Isaac). Beautiful wood that turns and finishes like you wouldn't believe!

Wow is right, nice job and great piece of wood. I have never bought a chrome Baron, is there much difference from the chrome to the platinum in appearence? Looking at photos posted of chrome Barons, there doesn't look like much. ??

THANK YOU Rick, I bought a bunch of wood from Isaac and forgot all about it. Seeing your pen reminds me that I need to turn one of the birds eye maple blanks that I bought. Good looking pen.
